Anything you do that brings us your next novel on time is well worth receiving Heck

On Earth a day late. I can’t wait!

Bafflingly existential angst. Thanks, Brent. Now I’m questioning my own reality.

I think you have your priorities right. Stifling an imagination is akin to sacrilege. We can wait for a cartoon.

Totally understand about being in the flow state when writing. You really don’t want to interrupt that, because lord knows we already spend too much time staring at a blank page /screen waiting for inspiration to strike.

Maybe you should just post Heck on Earth when you can, rather than hold yourself to a schedule, and we’ll just expect you when we see you, so to speak?

By all means, Brent, when the creative juices are flowing you must continue with the flow. It feels good to have a productive day and we can wait.

Deadlines. Unless there is a true basis for them…like payroll being timely or bills without late fees, babies being born and grandpas dying…they’re arbitrary and based on an imaginary time demand.

I think of them like borders, property lines, and HOA’s…designed by someone to meet their personal needs. They take on a life of their own, satisfying others as needs grow, but remain arbitrary and subject to change.

Please save your apologies and remove your personal deadlines: Heck 2x/week and Rambler 1x/week. It’ll become a pleasant surprise when it arrives!

You’re already spinning plates to meet demands; give yourself a break. Life is short!

Thanks for what you share…whenever it arrives!

Wait a minute, wait a minute. If Brent is the one making both of them say the things they say, is he imagining us? Or are we imagining him? I need to sit down and have another Eat-More bar that he mentioned last week and I immediately went online to purchase for an exorbitant amount of money. Or did I just imagine he mentioned it? I hate philosophy. Or do I love it and Brent just make me think I hate it? Where's that candy bar...

No worries! Heck always gives a chukle, and something to ponder about, to get away from life's "sessors"! So all good and HIGHLY worth the wait.

I'm so happy that things are moving forward on your next novel! I loved the 1st one and am definitely looking forward to ALL of your future writing endeavors. I think we all know if you're late posting something for us, you have something important to take care of, and we really don't mind 😊

Thanks Brent. A welcome respite from the political crap show we’re dealing with here in the States. Be well, my friend.

It’s very much worth waiting for Heck on Earth if it means being able to read your new book, even though it will likely scare the crap out of me again!

Well, this is a coincidence! I thought earlier today, Hmnn, I haven't seen a message from Brent Butt in awhile...and here you are! But then that happens a lot to me; I think of someone and suddenly see or meet or hear from them. Good to hear you are being productive and busy. Looking forward to hearing about the release of the new book, in due time.
